Our portfolio of work
On this page we have examples of our most recent bespoke website design projects to demonstrate the kind of sites that we can produce. However this is by no means an exhaustive demonstration of what we can do. If you want a feature that you don't see, send us a message today and we can almost certainly provide what you need.
This web site was designed for a CNC routing company based in Cheddar, Somerset. It is an excellent example of a simpler design that is perfect for a company whose work almost exclusively involves producing bespoke pieces where a full e-commerce site would not make sense. Features of note include the gallery page which can be updated instantly with new photographs by the Pro Carve team via their admin portal. Also the “Contact Us” functionality that allows potential customers to easily send a message to Pro Carve, including attachments if required.
We worked closely with the Pro Carve team over a few weeks to produce this website and iterated through several designs before we landed on the final one that we were all happy with. In addition to the website, we also took over hosting and management for all the company’s email which helps the team to focus on the core work of the business.
"I approached PH Website Design with a view to revamping my website to make it more searchable on google and to bring a professional quality to the pages. Paul guided me through the process and what could be done and at every stage explained exactly what would be done, even coming to my office to meet face to face and go though the next step of changes, this made the whole process very easy for me and I really can't thank Paul enough for the job he has done, its exactly what i wanted and now i'm getting more organic hits i couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this company."

Fantasy Athletics Lucky Dip
This fully interactive website was designed to display the results for a competition that runs for just a few days, twice a year. This meant we had to focus on a design that coped well with large numbers of concurrent visitors as most of the site’s traffic occurs in short bursts. As well as the results page that can be seen, the site also has an extensive series of admin pages that allow all aspects of the competition to be managed. One of the key requirements for the site was the integration with external data sources, such as Twitter profiles of competition entrants and linking to World Athletics to get pictures of the athletes.
For this site, the competition organiser provides us with all the entrant data, which we enter into the website’s database. During the competition itself we monitor the results, enter them quickly into the database and the results page is then automatically recalculated. This allows the competitors to see the updated positions in near real-time.
"Paul designed a number of pages on my website to deliver a number of very specific functions. I was really happy with the end result, as were the regular visitors to my website. The website is very professional, and Paul was able to incorporate seamlessly my branding into the design. Paul also walked me through some of the technical elements that we needed to do together, testing each element before we finally went live. With this combination of technical support, professional design and great advice, I’d recommend PH Website Design to any small business or organisation."
